I’m from the mainland side of Penang which is Butterworth , not Georgetown which is in the island area :) Thus hit me up if you’re up for exploring local Penang Mainland rather than the Touristy Penang Island ! People often see me as a very outgoing, talkative girl. I love meeting new people and I love kids ! I also play a few musical instruments :) I hope to explore new places as a local and not a tourist as in the past I've always been a tourist until I started volunteering~

My first CS experience was in Taiwan. It’s so amazing and I started to use more because the people that I have met through CS are just so amazing ! Thus I Will be so glad if we have the chance to meet :)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

As someone who loves travelling, I’m tired of being a tourist. The main reason I’m on CS is To explore more and to travel like a local ! I believe everyone has their own story to share so I’m pretty interested in listening to life experiences of others ! I don’t really trust the internet so I believe that locals can give me a clear picture on hows the city like!

兴趣

I really love to take pictures and explore the beauty of nature ! However , sometimes I prefer to live in the moment and enjoy the creation of god. Besides , I also love Music. I play different types of musical instruments just like the piano , guitar and violin !

音乐、电影和书籍

Music : Jay Chou, Classical Music as I play the piano. My favourite piece will be Sonata moonlight 3rd movement by Beethoven! Though I’m still learning how to play that song cause it’s too fast !
Movies: my favourite movie will always be titanic. Haha and i watch Korean dramas since young . The reason why I’m studying law is because of the Korean drama Love Story in Harvard.
Books : I love reading books , especially fiction novels . My favourite book is I am number four. I love the whole series !

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Slept on the airport floor for the whole night while waiting for my flight to Hangzhou China. Went for mission trip with church to China when I was 16 and also went to Chiang Rai Thailand to teach children in rural areas English. In January 2017, I also Volunteered as English teacher in Taiwan. I still keep in touch with my host families !!

2019: Travelled Europe by myself for one month and also did many travelling by myself when I was studying in the UK !!
Learnt how to speak and type in Cantonese within 3 months LOL

I can teach you some languages/ dialects such as Chinese, English, Cantonese , Hokkien, Malay :) I can teach you music too ! I would love to learn a new language ! Or learn how to make a new dish. I can share my experiences with you:) and also listen to your stories!

I can share my travel stories with hosts , and I can be a good listener too! I hope that I can bring some joy and memories into your life ! I can also share with you the wonders of my home country, Malaysia. As Malaysia is still a country that is not very famous ... yet. I do hope that one day you can travel to my country and I can host you if it’s possible ! As I’m still a student right now :)
