ABOUT ME

I'm a pretty down to earth person. I have a passion for learning about and experiencing different cultures firsthand. I'm interested in internationalization efforts and advancing interculturalism. I’m usually up for anything and I like trying new things.

PHILOSOPHY

Most of us don't have life figured out as well as we think. Perhaps instead of imposing what we think we know on others we should take a step back from our egos and conditioning and assess the situation with a more objective, logical lens. And, of course, traveling is an excellent means to that end.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I couchsurf here and there. My flatmate in my old place in Taiwan used to host a lot, and I did occasionally too. We were also very involved in a CS community there. Here in Kraków I'm just starting to host more myself.

兴趣

I like to explore and learn about the world firsthand. I enjoy contemplating the workings of the world and all that jazz, so I'm happy with a nice conversation. I love traveling, what else is new. I enjoy a wide variety of things. I like nature, adventurous activities, ultimate Frisbee, scuba diving, caving, hiking, people watching, martial arts, swing dancing, having shenanigans, and just experiencing new things. Buffets have a calling to me. I also love animals, I wish I could have an orangutan as a best friend and I probably should make sure I'm up-to-date on my vaccines with all the streets dogs I like to pet. I'm interested in world cultures, intercultural dynamics, the inner-workings of societal phenomenon, different belief systems, particularly when involving the "supernatural", international education...
