Overview
About Me
Half of my heart belongs to Mexico, where I was born, and the other half belongs to Spain, which has been my home for the past few years.
I would describe myself as easy-going, curious, and open-minded. I’m always a good listener — after all, “we have two ears and one mouth so we can listen twice as much as we speak.”
I believe the world would be a better place if everyone practiced more empathy and put themselves in someone else’s shoes before judging.
Feminist.
Happiness depends on each person and how you see the world and deal with challenges. It’s easy to say, but harder to apply, I know. I don’t need the extraordinary to be happy — little things can make all the difference.
I also think work isn’t everything. Our time in this world is limited, so let’s enjoy life and focus on what truly matters!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
One of the best ways to truly know a country is by getting to know its people — what they do, what they value, how they think, how they live, and what they eat.
I have met many people through Couchsurfing, and I can honestly say I love being part of this community — both for what I can offer to others and for what I can learn from them.
Interests
I enjoy doing sports, specially swimming, running, calisthenics and going to the gym.
I am very interested in practicing English, German and Portuguese. Unfortunately I have forgotten French, but I can still give it a try.
I love going out in the city — whether it’s walking along the beach promenade, having a picnic in the park or on the beach, enjoying some cañas or wine with friends, or going out to party 🥳
I adore cats and I’m also fascinated by reptiles. I have owned in Mexico several snakes🐍, rats🐀, iguanas🦎, tortoises 🐢.
I'm an excellent eater. There are few foods I don't like. Mexican food is my favorite, and I will never say no to tacos with picante! 🌶️

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I studied a semester in Brazil in 2015 🇧🇷 which was on of the best journeys of my life. I met students from all over the world and we became very close, spending most of the semester together. People in Brazil were incredibly kind and joyful. We traveled to the Iguazú waterfalls and Rio de Janeiro — unforgettable moments.
The same year I spent all my savings to travel to la Patagonia in Argentina 🇦🇷, I even borrowed money to go hiking at the Perito Moreno Glacier and visit Ushuaia 🔥 By the end of the journey I was broke and spend one night sleeping at the airport.
In 2017 I lived in Austria 🇦🇹 for three months. I went on a long bike trip along the Danube, passing charming little towns, endless vineyards, and landscapes greener than green itself. By the end, I was completely kaputt — but I had tasted one of the greatest feelings of freedom🚲
In 2023, I visited the Sahara desert in Morocco in 2023 🇲🇦 during Ramadan. The cultural shock was enormous. I met an Amazigh man taking care of camels, and we spent the night talking in the middle of the desert about our lives. That moment completely changed my perspective.
Riding a scooter 🛵 in Indonesia in 2025 🇮🇩 was my first time driving in a country where traffic flows on the opposite side of what I’m used to. Despite the crazy traffic jams and the feeling of “synchronized chaos,” I managed to ride without any accidents — an unforgettable experience through the city and the rice fields!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can show or reccomend you my favorite spots in Barcelona, give advise for sightseeing, and share my top recommendations for low-cost bars and restaurants.
If you're interested, I can give tips for visiting authentic and extraordinary places in Mexico 🇲🇽 and Spain as well🇪🇸
I appreciate being corrected If I make any mistakes when speaking English, German, Portuguese or French; there is always room for improvement! 🔝
If timing allows us, I can teach you how to make a traditional Spanish Tortilla de Patata 🥚🧅🥔
I know the basics of programming and have developed some macros in a personal .xls file to manage my finances. If you're a programmer and could help me with coding, that would be amazing! 💻
I’m also eager to learn more about trading, finance, and entrepreneurship — can you bring something to the table? 📈
What I Can Share with Hosts
I receive many requests from people who don’t even read my profile and are only interested in using other people’s kindness. That’s not what Couchsurfing means to me.
For me, hosting travelers is about creating a genuine and balanced exchange where both guests and hosts contribute to the experience. I believe in hospitality based on respect, trust, and mutual collaboration.
I am happy to share my time, space, attention, and home with you so that you feel comfortable and enjoy a nice experience during your stay in Barcelona. But I also believe in contribution.
To show me that you have read my profile and share this vision, please begin your request by describing yourself in three words. This way, I’ll know that you truly want to connect, not just find a free place to sleep.
If our schedule allows it, we could also explore some iconic places in Barcelona together during the weekend. Depending on the weather and your travel plans, we might organize an outdoor activity such as a picnic at the beach, visiting a park, museum, or local event — there is always something to do in this beautiful city.
