Hey whats up! So Im Kian, backpacker from Sweden traveling around South America for a while. Two things I enjoy with traveling is to familiarize myself to unfamiliar places and to connect and actually create friendships with people I meet. So far so good! Few things are as satisfying as plunging into fresh and pure water on a hot (and humid) afternoon. Beatboxing is up there as well. Also catching waves when surfing.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is a way for me to travel cheaply and at the same time get better contact with the locals and the cities I am travelling to.
Music, Movies, and Books
Rock, electro, hip-hop/rap, samba, cumbia, cuarteto and folclore. And alot of indigenous music related to the countries I am visiting. And of course salsa! Godfather (Il Padrino), Shawshank Redemption, American psycho, Fight Club and Harry Potter. 1984 and The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. Also The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Travelled by myself. That is my biggest step.
Teach, Learn, Share
Bring a lot of water when hitchhiking. I want to learn Spanish. More than just conversational. I share food. And sketchy stories.
What I Can Share With Hosts
Cultural exchange in terms of language, food, expriences and personality. I love to decipher other cultures and try to understand what makes them so different but yet so alike my own culture.
My Interests
When you are in Argentina you learn to like Fernet with coke and mate. Don't worry. Just add more coke to the Fernet ;-)
