We are a Chilean couple. We met 9 years ago and we've been together for 7 years and a half!!
We decided to take one year off work (maybe a little more XD) and travel as much as we can. And of course, we wanted to meet different people who could teach us about their countries. So far, so awesome!
Natalia is a sweet girl, she enjoys laughing and she is a totally dog lover person.
Enrique is an easy going guy who enjoys talking and learning new things.
We both love traveling and at this point we think we are kind of addicted to it!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

We live in Chile, which is a far far place from everywhere. So, meeting new people from different parts of the world was not an easy task.
We enjoy learning new things, specially about history and people's backgrounds. We didn't know about Couchsurfing until a few months ago, so we decided to give it a try. So far we can say it was a spot on decision.
It's been only a few weeks since the first time we used it, but we've met so many awesome people!!
So, we want to keep doing it.

Music
I love music. It's a really important part of my life. I can't say I like all the genres, but from time to time I like to explore and get to know different types.
I mainly listen to Metal music, the heavier the better! I also enjoy classical music, jazz, blues and reggae.
Some bands I like are: Iron Maiden, Oceano, Plini, SOJA, Matisyahu, Cloudkicker, Tom Waits, Sepultura, Pain of Salvation, Eric Clapton, Pat Metheny, etcetera!

Movies
A little bit of everything. I enjoy movies! Mostly action movies, but I do like different genres. Comedies, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Drama, Documentary, Mystery, Thriller... And so, haha. I tried to list all the movies I watched on IMDB but I stopped at 308 knowing that I wouldn't be able to list them all.
Anyways, some of my favorite movies are: Whiplash, 300, Gladiator, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Inception, Fight Club, Forrest Gump, Star Wars, The silence of the Lambs, A Clockwork Orange, etcetera.

Books
This category is also a cool one for me. As a kid I grew up reading a lot. I used to stay reading hidding under the covers with a flashlight until very late! Genres I like are Fantasy, Cyberpunk, Sci-Fi, Documentary, Mystery, Detective.
Some of the books I've enjoyed most are: The Lord of the Rings (in fact, all of Tolkien's books), A Song of Ice and Fire (saga), Neuromancer (again, all of the Gibson's books), Dune, The Da Vinci Code (all of the Brown's books), etcetera.
