About Me

If I wouldn't dedicated my life's to people I would dedicated to dogs.

Everybody calls me Kike -phonetically in english 'Key' (as from keychain) and 'che' (as from chemical)-, I'm 28 years old, I studied Artisanal Product Design and I love handcrafting. I'm focused on origami, and fabric manipulation including origami techniques for fabric manipulation.

I'm working in the global office of an international NGO focused in promoting local development in low income communities; that's why I live in Chile :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Some friends told me about it and about the great experiences that they had with CS so, as I also enjoy meeting people I decided to offer CS in my department in the center of Santiago.

I wish we have fun!

One of my favorites books is "Diablo Guardián" of Xavier Velasco.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I participated as a selected designer in Kaleidoscopio 2015. A fashion show/runway contest runned by the Museum of Art of El Salvador (MARTE)

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to do origami because of the potential it has for connecting with people.

I love to learn everything, in particular, handcrafting techniques and cooking.

I love to share moments :)
