I’m new to the Couchsurfing world so haven’t hosted anyone yet and will be moving and switching jobs in the next couple of months. After that the world is at my doorstep, lol......I’ve been fortunate enough to spend a significant amount of my adult life living abroad and teaching in the international school system for expats, etc. With this I have loved traveling the world and learning about other cultures and countries. I have a fascination in seeing how other people live and what we all have in common. Above all, making friends with people from all over the world is pretty darn amazing I must say! Presently in Beilun or close to Ningbo China.... which is south of Shanghai. Look forward to meeting new people!

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people around the world and making friends! My main passion in life!
Music, Movies, and Books
Indie, dance, jazz, suspense thrillers, documentaries, advebture/survival stories (Into the Wild, Into Thin Air, Wild). more to come!
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Hiked around a volcanic crater in Japan and climbed a glacier in New Zealand.
Teach, Learn, Share
I could teach you how to play the flute and/or recorder and love to dance... not sure about teaching...lol. Cooking...I have to admit is not my passion and really hate it...lol, so we could go to a restaurant of your choice. However, I would be generous in making sure there are the "basics" in my house for you. (e.g. cereal, milk, eggs, bread)
What I Can Share With Hosts
Just new to Ningbo China so seeing what’s out there myself....
My Interests
Biking, hiking, live music, arts and culture, art crawls, theatre, trying new ethnic restaurants around the twin cities.
