I'm 25 years old and until november 2018 I lived in the Netherlands. Turning 18, I moved from the middle-West to the North of the country to studie Animal Management (Wildlife management is my "specialization", cause it's wild ;).

I did one wonderful internship abroad and was exploring the forests and wildlife of Northeast Poland for five months. I promised myself do explore the rest of the world when I finished my study.

So that is where I'm now, living in Rovaniemi, taking it slow. No rush, than I would only see half of it!
The magical winter season, working as a tour guide, convinced me to stay for summer and one more winter to see some more! At the moment I'm enjoying a looong summer holiday and I'm trying to see a lot. Bought a cute motorcycle to explore the North, would love to drive it to Nordkapp. Any other recommendations for me to see?

Hopefully this description already gave you the idea that I'm a very enthusiastic and curious person. My love for nature has drawn me to Finland and I could never know how much I appreciate their culture (and I love to see all the funny stereotypes on "Very Finnish Problems").

Because it's an adventure by itself!
Once you overcome this fear strangers are not to be trusted (I bet many moms don't like their kids couch surfing), a new world opens to you :).

You probably have a much more interesting place to stay than a hostel, you can ask your host what to see and what to do, and since most couch surfers are travelers..... prepare for all the cool stories and inspiration for your next travel.

And of course, it can safe you a lot of money -> more to spent on the going to places :).

Difficult one.

Books: I like to read things that make me smarter. I have books lying around about animal intelligence, motorcycle engines, food science....

Music: Spotify is my hero, I can click a playlist based on mood. I can enjoy almost any music, although I must admit I would never put on some heavy metal myself.

Movies: the Saw saga was one of my favorites, but Insidious is now on top of my scary-list. I love films with a bit of fiction. But I also love Netflix for it's great offer of documentaries.

I'm a chicken in the field, but that team spirit I will never forget, and all the amazing parties and great stories made there neither.
