About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see the world and meet happy people :)
ABOUT ME
I'm a student at University College Utrecht, in The Netherlands. I take International Development and Psychology courses, mostly. Right now I'm on a three-month holiday travelling through India and Japan, and will settle down for a semester at the University of Kyoto. I love the visual arts, I like to draw, paint, and take photographs (and use Photoshop :)) and to see other people's work. I used to play the guitar but need to bring myself to take it up again. Obviously I love to meet new people from all over the world, and do I need to mention travelling?
PHILOSOPHY
I'm not quite sure yet... Living life as if there's no tomorrow is a true cliché but sometimes hard to fulfill, like when I'm busy with schoolwork. Always try to find something good in whatever happens. I'm a naïve, optimistic pacifist.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've surfed a few couches in Japan and that was great. I'll be unable to host for a couple of months due to aforementioned travels but afterwards my door will be open :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Haven't taken the time to read a decent book in ages, although I love to read. Last work completed was Everything is Illuminated and now working on The Wind-Up Bird Chronicles by Haruki Murakami.
Movies: I love good movies that inspire and have great cinematography, especially arthouse movies.
