Often busy at work or with my son who lives with me half of his time. Optimistic and happy and love meeting new and not so new people whenever I can!

Have started learning Japanese after some amazing skiing in Hokkaido. I will be back!

I have now just brushed the dust of my couchsurfing account after both corona and the pay wall they set up. Not too fan of the subscription, but the fun and experience I have had with people I have met here is definitely worth more than the yearly fee.

So far I have mostly hosted travelers coming to Bergen. In a way it's like a holiday for me to share some stories, cook some together and experience Bergen through your eyes. So I'll probably keep messaging people visiting here when I have time. And don't be shy, you can reach out to me as well, but I generally don't host when I am enjoying life with my son.

I never stayed as someone's place. Probably I'm a little too happy with a hotel bed or too wary to disturb you? But let's see.. just when the world closed down I was going to a dance festival in Viet Nam and had arranged a stay, but when the airline cancelled my return flight, I chickened out. Or perhaps it was my boss getting to nervous ;)

An American friend of mine went and it so happened that this weekend was the weekend Viet Nam closed. And you couldn't get in or out. The funny thing, he is still there!

Perhaps I should start listing the trips I do?

Travelled to Dubai and met a couchsurfer I hung out with when she was travelling in Bergen. She was hosting a girl from Scotland and had the whole program planned out. World Expo, cruise, Grand Mosque, hiking in Jebel Jais and surprise surprise, latino party at the rooftop bar at the hotel.

It's always fun to meet new people! When travelling love it when I get to know people and not just pass through in hotels. I may not always have much time to share, but I have plenty of beds 😊
