ABOUT ME

I am a school Principal and my primary profession is teaching. I love travelling and have travelled to all continents except South America and Antartica!. My passions is music, I play the Sitar, but listen to all kinds of music, soft rock being a favourite.

My sons had bands of their own, but split up after all went different ways post Class 10 Boards. I am also into cross country touring on motorcycle and go out once in a while with my other biker friends. Photography is my other passion and I also own a photo lab where we print digital and analogue photos, and also sell cameras and photography accessories. I love reading English fiction and try to to read the latest by Indian authors in English.

Mostly by hosting. All who surfed with us are wonderful people and we had lovely times with them.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

very positive, though surfed only once with a great guy in Addis Ababa.

兴趣

Reading, travelling, photography, going out on long and short trips on my mobike with my other biker friends, playing the Sitar and listening to Classical and rock music, Hollywood movies, sports shooting and fishing.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Nothing so far really!!! Waiting for that to happen! Closest would be riding my motorcycle to Khardungla pass in Ladakh, the highest motor-able road in the world. Please see pic in gallery. And yes, letting hyenas feed off my back and almost off my mouth in a weird ritual in Ethiopia. OK, tandem skydiving in the US and bungee jumping in New Zealand and Zambia, walking the lions and cheetas in Namibia.
