Overview
About Me
I was born and brought up in Chennai, India.
After 22 years of living in Chennai, I moved to Delhi and Bangalore for 3 and half years.
I moved for my education to Munich and found that I had profound interest in living outside my country even if it comes at the cost of staying away from family and friends.
I like to read when time allows. I also swim a lot. Hiking and meeting new people have become my newfound hobbies.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Travel and meet new people who I believe are just like me, well a different version of me.
Staying at a local's place gives you profound experience. I want to do that.
Needless to say, if someone offers me a couch, they would get one in the city I am living.
Interests
I've hiked mostly the Bavarian strech of Alps. The mountains are mostly from Garmisch Partnerkirchen town. Partnachlamm, Hohentallklamm, Wendelstein, Lengries, Mittenwald, Herzogstand are some of the representative spots where I have hiked.
I swim. I read pretty much any topic. I'm currently reading - Why nations fail. We can discuss about why rich countries are rich and poor countries are poor. I don't buy everything written in that book, but its worth the read. So, in general, would love to talk a bit about economics.
Music, Movies, and Books
pretty much anything that appeals to me.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Took a mortgage at the age of 25 which I was pretty sure not to be able to pay back. I did pay it back :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I bring legal perspectives to the topics I discuss with my friends. As a patent attorney, I am trained to NOT accept what is written without enough evidence :)
So, I can teach you critical reading :) in case, if this interests you.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share good laughs. A light hearted conversation.
I can also bring some goodies if they like to, albeit within my financial reach.
