About Me

Getting to experience glimpses of other cultures is transformative. This step out into the chaos of somewhere new is the most brave, and clarifying thing that I do. "Diversity is the teacher of democracy." Fashion. Culinary arts are a huge part of my life. I love observing the energy of life, permaculture, human brilliance and coffee! I’m vegan, play tennis and practice Yoga. Always looking forward to the next adventure.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I visit a new place I love to meet the locals and really try to see/experience their home through their eyes so I’m here to have more authentic experiences while traveling! I’m here to make amazing and inspiring friends, learn and enjoy the journey. I grew up with 3 siblings and my mum always offered a space in our home for someone passing through town or one of her students going through hard times. The door to our home was perpetually unlocked so I appreciate the opportunity to travel and have the door opened for me. Sometimes I feel like some of the karmic energy shes’ put out into the world has guided me on my way around this planet.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don’t have favorites but right now musically I’m loving, Mereba, Tems, Khurangbin, DUCKWRTH, tame impala, The Marias, Jacob Banks, and all sorts of jazz. As for books, I’m currently reading Deep Nutrition and Robert Greene's Laws of Human Nature (so be careful ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Probably won’t be as amazing as what I do next but I hiked for two hours into a remote jungle in Costa Rica and danced all night on a bamboo stage.

Teach, Learn, Share

Really want to learn French and speak it fluently but I’m open to learning most things in most places. I graduated from Ecoversity last year, studying Permaculture Design so I’m very excited to talk about some of the principles and the philosophical practice of intentional design in the Ag space.Heading to Jamaica on the first day of Aries so very motivated to absorb abundance and project powerful energy throughout my birth month of March.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I’ve studied culinary arts and science so I’d love to share some of my knowledge about food, a cup of tea from an ever growing collection that I travel with :) and my evolving yoga practice. I'm a big reader so I have recco's for days!
