I study linguistics/Finnish in University of Tartu and I work as a tech writer in IT. I used to work as a bartender before, so I know a thing or two about beer, cocktails and people as well. :)

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

Six or so years ago I wrote a story in the local newspaper about couchsurfing. I got to interview some really inspiring and hospitable people! After that started dreaming about a place where I could host strangers myself too. It took me quite a few years to actually get around to it, but it's been so much fun.

I recently moved to a tiny place where I cannot host right now, but I will do it again once I have more room.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I really enjoy reading both fiction and non-fiction. Estonian poetry, classic world literature, children's stories (you know, the ones that children and adults can both read and find different meaning in it, like Winnie-the-Pooh or Moomins). Also, 'A short history of nearly everything' by Bill Bryson was a life-changer!

Shows: If I had to pick one, it would definitely be Community (my favorite show of all time! The jokes just never get old). Rick and Morty being a close second in the list. Most recent obsession is Daredevil.

Movies: too many favorites to list. Still cannot go without mentioning Star Wars.

Same with music, as there is a mood for every style. Couldn't possibly mention something more specific, but I like mellow trip-hop and acid jazz, as well as 1940s-50s jazz and progressive rock and choral music and EDM and heavy metal and.. you get the point. :)
