About Me

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I love music that touches the heart — from soulful ballads to meaningful indie tunes. Whitney Houston and Norah Jones inspire me.

Movies: Some favourites are Into the Wild, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, Rear Window, and the timeless classic It's a Wonderful Life (1946), directed by Frank Capra and starring James Stewart and Donna Reed. I love movies that make me feel — and yes, I often cry watching them (in a good way).

Books: I love stories of resilience and self-discovery — Robinson Crusoe has been one of my favourite books since childhood. Its themes of solitude, survival, and the human will to adapt deeply resonate with me. Other favourites include The Little Prince, the works of Irvin Yalom, and Ukrainian authors like Taras Prokhasko. I am always happy to exchange book recommendations.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I conducted research on psychosocial well-being and housing reconstruction in communities affected by war in Ukraine. It taught me how people rebuild — not only their homes, but also their hope. Contributing to support systems that honour both emotional and practical needs was one of the most meaningful things I have done.
