People, people, people... All sorts of different people. That's what I'm super interested in. Their passions, stories, interests, connections... I want to meet as many new, original, creative, good-hearted, adventurous people as possible!

I'm a programmer from Poland who studied and lived in the UK, but that doesn’t tell much about me. What I really enjoy are long talks about human nature, society, literature, arts... (feel free to check the list of my favorite books and movies). I love doing stuff with my hosts/guests and I’m pretty much up for anything: going out for drinks, dancing, parties, a day in nature, sports, swimming, singing, doing something creative, cooking, volunteer work, home decorating, etc..
However, I do understand that not all hosts have a lot of time to spend, so I have no problem exploring the city on my own. I'm in general quite talkative and when the conversation is about travelling or science, I can talk for hours, but lately, my favourite subjects are definitely society, human nature, science, psychology, philosophy, sociology, politics, etc.

As a surfer, I'm really self-sustaining (I have my own tent, sleeping bag and everything so I can easily even sleep in the garden xD), I'm punctual and polite and I'm super interested in people, current social phenomena and problems of the area that I'm in. I always sing in the shower and never say 'no' to another round of drinks.

I love the philosophy of it. I tend to think that being good and friendly to all people is in the principles of being human. Also, you can not really understand any place in the world if you don't spend time meeting people that live there, and couchsurfing is the best way to do that.

Camus; "1984" by G. Orwell; "Crime and Punishment" by F. Dostoyevski; I still love Harry Potter books (don't judge, it's a lot of nostalgia xD); the witcher saga by A. Sapkowski; and many others.

MUSIC

I listen to all kinds of music. You can easily catch me listening to any of metal, indie/alt rock, classical music, reggae, rap, pop, etc.

Wrote code that helps treating Parkinson disease.
Hitchhiked all around Balkans and Turkey.
Helped to write a psychiatric textbook.

I can tell you a few things about programming, physics or science in general. I can also share my psychiatric knowledge as I helped to write a book on that. Lots of travelling/hitchhiking stories and polish culture, of course :)
