About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live the present, enjoy the moment!

ABOUT ME

Party chillex party, beer and fuuun! Well, not just that :) I truly enjoy living! :) It's the biggest gift I've been ever given and I love it so much! It gives me a chance to experience something deep, beautiful or exciting every day. A chance to go through a little bit of new adventure and learn something new about myself. A chance to meet someone special who might open my mind for a different point of view. I like to share my life with people I love and travel with them when possible. I spend a lot of time outdoors and I love mountains and everything connected with them. I am used to put away the comfort of the home to have an authentic experience. I love fresh morning air, evenings near the seaside, spending time with my friends at a campfire or just having a chat and laugh with a beer in my hand :). I love to feel the diversity that every season of the year can bring - it reminds me that a change in life is a very good thing, I don't like stereotype. Meeting people from other countries, different cultures and sharing experience is what I really enjoy. For me it is the best way to learn about the world and humanity.

PHILOSOPHY

Live the present, learn from the past, look forward to the future ;)

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Sometimes I can offer accommodation in the place where I am currently staying. I can also give you advice about what to do and where to go or I can simply take you somewhere :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I had the best experience possible. Besides having great amount of fun and laugh, I've met a whole bunch of people who I truly admired and who opened my mind in some ways. I can be only thankful that something like CS exists, it's just a great way to meet people, travel and discover the world.

Interests

Travelling is my passion, mountains are my second home :) Since I have spent most of my life in a small town near the mountains, I have always enjoyed mountaineering. I truly spend a lot of my free time being outdoors and there is a good reason behind it - Slovakia is just extraordinary:

I love hiking, snowboarding, free-riding, cross-country skiing, running, cycling and camping. When I travel I like to hitchhike as it is the best way to get to know the countries and people living there. Playing basketball, volleyball, tennis, table tennis, rafting or sea swimming is something I also enjoy from time to time. I actually do whatever you persuade me to do :)

I also love photography, guitar and good beer ;-)

Music, Movies & Books

I really listen to a lot of music. To mention at least some - I like Chiki-liki-tua, Puding Pani Elvisovej, RHCP, Mumford and the sons, Ben Howard, Pearl Jam, Pink Floyd, Coldplay, Soley, Sigur Ros, Radical Face, Arcade Fire, Kings of Leon, Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, Hans Zimmer, Dave Matthews Band, Beatles, Scorpions, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Johnny Cash, Bruce Springsteen..

For me, truely enjoyable movies are: Into the Wild, White Hell, Kurvahošigutntag, Gladiator, Life Cycles, The Last Samurai, The Last Trapper, Equilibrium, The Last Of The Mohycans, Braveheart, Top Gun, MI2, Gran Torino, Michel Vaillant, LOTR, Seven pounds, The Hurricane, BBC documentaries and loads of others...

From what I've read I really enjoyed Three friends, Shantaram, Into the wild, Alchemist, Žert, The Call of the Wild, Marching Powder, The Beach, For whom the bell tolls, Peter Camenzid and Death's called Engelchen.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

Besides being born, 2400 kms long bike trip with my friends from my hometown through the Balkans all the way to the Adriatic sea.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to eat a lot but still don't gain weight :D. I am okay with computers and mountaineering. And I'd love to learn surfing, building simple wooden houses, canyoning, windsurfing, paragliding, reading people's minds and eating upside down :)
