About Me

I am back in my hometown in Naga City, Philippines after more than 5 years of living a nomadic lifestyle. I've lived in 4 different cities in the recent years and have recently decided to 'settle down' for a bit until I am ready to go back on the road again. I'm still in the process of 'reintegrating' to normality and honestly, I don't feel I'll ever fully reintegrate. I decided to go active on CS again in attempt to the deal with the lull of routine and life in the province.

I enjoy being immersed in different cultures - art, food, wine (or any other alcoholic drink). I love having healthy exchanges on politics, religion and life in general. I collect weaves and other wearable art from indigenous cultures. Movies, books, poetry and meditation help me de-stress.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been in Couchsurfing for a couple of years now and have had amazing memories meeting like-minded people, and sharing travel experiences with strangers-turned-friends for life. I owe a significant amount of my life experiences and life lessons to travel and would like to be able to pay it forward to fellow travel enthusiasts.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've met a lot of amazing, fascinating, interesting people while traveling and I'd like to be able to pay it forward and continue the chain.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Great conversations and cultural exchange.

If you're into the outdoors, we can go to beaches, hike up the waterfalls of Mt. Isarog, spend a day in cornfields and ricefields of rural Naga or hang out at the Wakeboard park if you like the tourist trails. If my schedule allows it, we can travel to other parts of the Bicol Region- to see the Mt. Mayon in Legazpi is an easy 1.5 hour drive. Basically, I'm just looking for a travel buddy to explore Bicol with
