About Me

I'm a biomedical researcher currently living in Boston, MA. I grew up in northern India near New Delhi, the capital of the country. I’ve lived and worked in several places, New Delhi, Zurich, St. Louis, and now Boston. Travel has always been a big part of my life. For me, the best part of traveling is getting to know how people actually live, the food, the conversations, the history, and the little routines that make each place unique.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling, not just to see new places but to really understand what life is like in different parts of the world. I’ve found that the most meaningful experiences come from connecting with people who live there, hearing their stories, sharing meals, and learning how they see the world. Couchsurfing feels like it’s a great way to make those kinds of real connections. It’s not just about having a place to stay, it’s about building friendships, exchanging culture, and getting a glimpse of daily life that you’d never get in a hotel or hostel.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm always looking for new and interesting music to explore - I often listen to a lot of Indian rock and sufi music. American and British pop, and some latin american music.

I am not a big movie watcher but I love a good comedy/rom com. I have a few favorite TV shows - Severance, Chernobyl, The Office, The Great British Bake off.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once hiked upstream through a waterfall canyon in Arizona. Going through, at times, chest-high water and stunning rock formations. It was exhausting, but completely unforgettable.

Attended the formula 1 grand prix in Monaco, Monte Carlo.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would gladly share my travel stories and life experiences with you. I love to learn and talk about food and history, and how those two are inter-connected. How different food evolved and changed as it travelled across the world through various periods of history.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would love to talk to you about my experiences and and interests. I love to cook, and can fix up a delicious meal if you want.
