ABOUT ME

My name is Tomas and I am 26. Strangers would probably say that I am openminded, friends that I am easygoing and best friends that I am somewhat insane :D. I appreciate people with good sense of humour, just don't take me too seriously.

I have done a lot of travelling in a last year or so. I have been studying in Taiwan and travelled most of Southeast Asia. It was the best year. It looks like I got serious case of travel bug, I just can't wait to be back on the road!

And of course - I am Czech, therefore I drink. I am just saying - if you take the word BEER and change 4 letters you will end up with LOVE. That can't be coincidence.

PHILOSOPHY

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I am here to meet people. Not to run a hostel though. What I get from couchsurfing is satisfaction from helping people out, english conversation and occasional drinking buddies.

That said, if you are just looking for free place to sleep I am not your guy.

兴趣

My big passion since childhood were movies. Since I remember me and my friends were always making movies. Mostly stupid, but it doesn't matter. I always loved standing behind the camera. Even though I finally ended up working in IT my passion for film still lasts.

And yes, I love beer (how did you know?). If you're attending AA meeting or something, I am probably not the best person to host you. Seriously, our favorite way to show Czech culture is to give couchsurfers taste of traditional liquor. You have been warned.

I am severe case of TV show addict. Shows like Breaking Bad, Dexter, South Park, Sherlock, Walking dead, GoT and a lot more - that's my thing :). I also love music, mostly electronic and play acoustic guitar and ukulele a little bit.

Saw northerns lights in Norway, Angor Wat in Cambodia and beautiful nature in Laos. Climbed to the top of volcano in Indonesia. Kayaked in Cat Ba bay in Vietnam.
