My wife and I enjoy showing people around Washington DC and hope they will return the favor with their home town. I tend to get along great with foreigners (even more so than with other Americans). I think maybe this is because their experiences are so different that I find them more interesting. Its OK if you are a liberal socialist and its OK if you are a strict conservative, its all about respecting other peoples opinions and experiences.

I love to show my city. It gives me an excuse to go out in DC and see things I don't normally see. My house is less than 3 miles to the White House, and I often ride my bicycle down.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted about 50 groups and it has always been great.
