Just finished my winter ski season in Revelstoke, BC. But now spending spring road tripping in my pimped-out van around BC, AB and up to Yukon for the summer!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Have been both a surfer and host
I also love using couchsurfing to meet people, as I move country/city often, its a great way to meet like-minded people....especially if a city has an active couchsurfing scene and events are plentiful!

Movies (everything and anything), travel, books, food, sport (so far i love skiing - 3 ski seasons and more to come, rock climbing, hiking, wild camping, windsurfing, surfing. i would love to try sailing, learn to paraglide while skiing solo, learn to skydive solo...basically if something makes my heart skip a beat, i wanna do it at least once!)

It can range from Aliens to Godfather to Titanic to Goodbye Lenin.... I really enjoy the experience of discovering something new/brilliant/mind-numbing etc. I try never to pre-judge anything in order to fully process everything life has to offer. i love reading and read everything and anything. i give a book 100 pages, if it doesnt do it for me,i stop. music anything - depends on the people you are with and where you are.

I look and feel this way, well cuz I drank and I smoked. I lived and I loved, danced, sang, sweat and screwed my way thorough a pretty damn good life if you ask me. Getting old ain't bad. Getting old, that's earned.!

I'm trying to make sure I can do everything possible...so far: Climbed in the pyramids of Egypt, Gone into the Colloseum of Rome, Viewed Paris from the Eiffel Tower, Stood in the Red Square in Moscow, visited the buildings carved in Petra, Floated in the dead sea, snorkelled in the great barrier reef, walked the streets of old town Jeruselum, taken a camel and seen the sun rise over the Sahara desert, taken pictures of the grand canyon, skydived over Coolangatta Beach, became a kid again in Disneyland, run with the bulls in Pamplona, witnessed scorched paper mache in Valencia, driven around the ring of kerry, been smashed in the face with tomatoes at la tomatina, drunk excessively at Oktoberfest in Munich, Skied through france and austria, paraglided on skis....still so much more to do!

I've given up on ever being able to learn a language fluently...I've realised that being raised on an island so far away from anywhere else and the fact that our accent makes it impossible to pronounce ANY other language, English is my "go-to" language...... but give me some alcohol and I can certainly try to speak a language! :)
