About Me

I'm Laura, a smiling and easy-going human being.

I come from a sunny island in Italy, and in the past I've spent many years traveling around, chasing a sense of freedom, new inputs and growing opportunities.
Nowadays I also focus on living a simple life connected with nature.

When I travel I take my remote work with me, and I tend to move quite slowly, since I enjoy getting to know deeper places and people. I also usually make up some creative projects related to my trips (you can find them on https://www.lauramalvaso.com).

My biggest interests are traveling, spending time in nature, searching good stories, doing creative activities (photography/writing/podcasting/interviewing/drawing/filming...), meditation, spirituality, deep talks, thinking out of the box.

Enough to say - I'm still in the (never ending) process of discovering myself!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

There are a few things I enjoy more than talking to like-minded people.
Also, I love stories - both hearing and sharing -, and courchsurfers always have good ones to tell!

Interests

- traveling, and anything related to traveling: exploring, discovering, hiking
- spending time in nature, outdoor activities
- meditation, philosophy
- creative activities like writing, photography, video making, drawing, painting, cooking, whatever
- volunteering, doing something meaningful for the others/the world
- IT stuff
- hearing passionate people talking passionately about their passions

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

So many, and so hard to choose one. But, well, making mud bricks to rebuild houses burned down during a civil war in a little, isolated, forbidden village of Myanmar, living in a community of volunteers, was definitely my once in a lifetime experience

What I Can Share with Hosts

Let's meet and have a talk! I'm sure I can find something interesting to share with you, and no doubts you can do the same with me.

We'll see once there. I like spontaneity (:
