I love to meet new people! One of the most unique experiences of traveling is meeting all kinds of people and learning a little about the way they live :) I sort of feel like if you travel to a new place and don't plug into the local culture, did you *really* travel there? I'm not simply travelling to snap that perfect Instagram pic, I want to dig in and experience EVERYTHING that a place has to offer, and meeting people is a huge part of that!

I can get into pretty much anything, I've recently discovered the magic of vinyl and it changed my life. Nothing beats live music I like rock, singer/songwriter, acoustic, electro, pop, rap, blues, old country, classic rock, bluegrass, folk, classical, film scores... Lately I'm really into Canadian bands like Our Lady Peace, The Glorious Sons, One Bad Son, The Arkells I'm a die-hard Britney fan, fight me ;) Imagine Dragons, Sia, Lorde, My #1 favourite recording artist is a Canadian pop songwriter/musician named Lights. I'm more into TV shows than movies, I truly think we're living in the Golden Age of television: Mad Men, Brooklyn 99, love to fall asleep to Bob Ross Netflix. If it's not on Canadian Netflix, I haven't seen it. Love Netflix Originals like Orange is the New Black, Glow, Stranger Things Books....I have an English Lit degree, so I basically spent 4 years and thousands of dollars just to read and write I like short stories, basically any classic (Bronte sisters, Dickens, Jane Austin, Bram Stoker, ) Sci-Fi, Fantasy, realistic fiction, historical fiction, horror.... I do enjoy reading poetry, as long as it has something to say I don't enjoy reading anything post-modern, but I love discussing it Love Tolkien, Margaret Atwood (a Canadian writer, probably my favourite), Virginia Woolf, C.S. Lewis I'm not a snob, I also love Harry Potter, Hunger Games, popular fiction.
