ABOUT ME

I just enjoy meeting other people and sharing my house with them. People usually think I look conservative but I think of myself as a fringe of society type. I am very liberal and usually able to
mix with all types of people.

PHILOSOPHY

Live to be happy and bring everyone along. We are all trying to understand why we are here, and when we find it, hopefully its about how we can positively effect the world.
Compassion and empathy are big values to me.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I enjoy hosting people at my house. I feel fortunate to live in a nice home(always a work in progress) and think its great to share with those that are traveling because I have often relied on the kindness of strangers myself.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met some good people hosting. I think meeting people from different areas is almost like traveling just no backdrop change. I do enjoy traveling myself to see what the world has to offer in natural and human resources.

I am interested in a variety of issues and fairly knowledgeable about a wide range. Art and education are very big interests. My biggest love is to meet good people that challenge my view of the world just by being themselves.

Eclectic music tastes based on my feeling at the time. For leisurely reading,I usually enjoy comfortable books that takes me to another place or time to meet new people.

As far as movies I like all kinds foreign, action, drama, thrillers and some comedies. I am pretty picky about horror, comedies and documentaries.

Hiking a trail in the mountains of Hawaii to end up at a serene bamboo forest that clicks so beautifully when the wind blows. Just past the forest was a cliff that overlooked Waikiki.

I always enjoy learning about different people. I find it fascinating to meet someone and find out about their culture and background, and how it manifests in their personality at this time in their life.
