Join Couchsurfing to see Elyna’s full profile. It’s free!
I graduated from a forestry college in the Adirondacks in May 2014 and just recently graduated with a B.S. in Conservation Biology. Celebrating the end of my academic career, my boyfriend, our best friend and I are headed to Iceland for a bicycle tour around the island's perimeter.
I know next-to-nothing about bicycles, but I suppose I'll learn quickly once we get going.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The amazing network of interesting people!
Reading, science, conservation, hiking, bicycles, plant identification, gardening, sharing food, friends, the smell of coffee, knitting the world's longest scarf, birding, etc.

TV: "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" is just the best thing.
Music: The Growlers, Alpenglow, Brad Mehldau, Nas, Punch Brothers, etc.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once helped bake this peach blueberry pie: http://flic.kr/p/cHcYxf
Teach, Learn, Share
I can explain the nitrogen cycle pretty well, and if you have a fish tank I'd be happy to help you set up an aquaponics system.
I'd really like to learn how to do a cartwheel.
