ABOUT

Hello there! I'm a northern Brazilian girl born and raised in Igarassu, a town not that far from Recife. I'm an Architect and Urban Planner with a great interest in the social life of cities. Every time I'm outdoors, I attempt to learn about the place I'm going by watching and interacting with people along the way. These kinds of connections bring me a lot of joy and enchantment.

In this sense, this platform has been quite important to me because it's allowed me to meet such lovely people and learn a lot from their incredible and inspiring journeys. Whenever possible, I host or meet surfers so they're able to gain from what Couchsurfing has to offer.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

When I heard about Couchsurfing, I just felt amazed with the possibility of getting familiar with different world cultures just by hosting someone in my own place. So, as soon as I got a room of my own in Leeds (United Kingdom), I started hosting surfers, so we would learn a bit about each other and discover the city together. Over the year I lived there, I had travelers coming from nearby cities and countries as far as the USA and Turkey, and all of them shared exciting stories about their lives, started nice discussions, and definitely had lots of booze with me. Hahaha

Even though I'm not able to host surfers at the moment, I still want to meet them and let them have a glimpse of what is like living in Brazil.

兴趣

Besides being truly passionate about exploring cities through different viewpoints (arts, architecture, language, food...), I love drawing and photographing. If you're also into it, I'd appreciate taking a look at your registers or even going for a photo (or drawing) walk.

I have traveled a lot around Brazil, so, in case you are planning a trip to this enormous country, I could definitely offer you some advice to get the best out of your trip.

Also, I love cooking! I could easily prepare Brazilian meals and some secret specialties of mine.

Besides that, I'm a great partner for drinks (if you're hosting me, you'll have a chance to taste caipirinha, the most famous Brazilian cocktail) and always up for some fun!
