Overview
About Me
Empty-nester with my two daughters grown and out of the house. I stay busy with a lot of volunteer activities and enjoy my vegetable garden.
Wicked sense of humor. I'm very open-minded, curious, and have a thirst for learning and experiencing. And you probably can't shock me. I like interesting people.
Depending on when you stay, I may or may not have time available to show you around. But at the very least, you'll have a place to crash!

What I Can Share with Hosts
A safe, private, comfortable bedroom... a place to wash clothes.... and a hot shower. A wealth of local knowledge. Especially about the entire state of Oregon as opposed to just the city of Portland.
My house is small, so the bathroom is shared, but you can help yourself to the kitchen and even pick some fresh veggies out of the garden.
The best feature - my place is very convenient to the airport (10 minutes) and right at the edge of the Columbia Gorge - you can be to Multnomah Falls and all the other Gorge-y goodness in under 20 minutes!
I've noticed some profiles in which the host has stated, "Please don't use my house like a hotel", but to be honest, I'm okay with that too. While I enjoy meeting and interacting with new people, if all you want is a place to crash without a whole lot of conversation, I'm totally on board. It's all good!
