NEW TO COUCHSURFING!! Everyone has to start somewhere! I'm a 36 year old American who decided that I wanted a change and some adventure so I moved to the Caribbean island of Puerto Rico. I've lived here for 3 years and I love it! My Spanish speaking is about average, so if you're a Spanish speaker let's chat so I can practice! Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just recently joined an international traveling group where I've learned so many new things and couchsurfing was one of those things. I didn't even know this existed! I decided that doing this would get me a more real world experience of how a person living in each place really lives. Staying in a hotel doesn't give you that experience and that is what I've been missing. I like to immerse myself in the culture of a place and staying at an actual person's house allows for just that!

I love art. I consider myself to be a creative person and love to hang out with other creative types. International travel and cultural exchanges is one of the things I truly live for!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I moved to Puerto Rico alone with my 3 year old son in 2012 and I had never been here before. Thus began the Puerto Rican Adventure! I've been to Cueva Ventana which was amazing and done zip lining on "The Beast" So much more to come on this list!
