About Me
Hey there 🌞
Please read my at home section before sending a request! Copy-paste-messages are ok and no riddles to solve, but please tell me a bit about yourself and your trip in your request 🌻
I'm not interested in dating or hook-ups so please don't text me/ decline my request if that's your intention :)
Short version:
Wannabe-artsy Social Worker who dreams of cuddling animals, going on nature-walks and doing her little crafting projects in a feminist post-capitalist society ✨
Long version:
I've been a student for a while but managed to actually finish my studies (big surprise for everyone including myself!). Now I'm working part-time with young adults who are affected by certain mental health struggles, which means that my working schedule is pretty random and so are my capabilities for hosting/travelling :D
During the 7 long years of my bachelor (lol) I discovered my love for long bike trips, hitchhiking, weird sports (namely Jugger) and was part of a handful of theater projects. I love arts, nature and cake, so my perfect day definitely includes a long hike, some cute animals on the way (that are ridiculously friendly and love to be pet) and a peaceful café in the end of it with decaf-cappuccino and chocolate cake. And maybe some books. Every café should have some books. I've also recently started tattooing and would be more than happy to make your trip a permanent memory :D
Currently my main hobby is dancing Forró and Swing (mostly Lindy Hop and Shag), but I also know some basics of most Standard and some Latin dances, so in case you are up for dancing, let's go! :) I'm always happy to check out dancing communities in other cities and to bring people into ours.
I'd consider myself an intersectional feminist and community and solidarity are amongst my core-values. Not a fan of borders, nations and capitalism; big fan of saving the climate. For the sake of my mental health I prefer spending time with like-minded people, even though I think exchange between very different political perspectives is important - but I don't always have the energy to get into it.
I'm a bit more on the introverted side lately and feel comfy in one-on-one conversations or in small groups; I'm not much of a night-owl and prefer daytime activities like visiting interesting museums, flea-markets or having a stroll trough the park. But there are exceptions to everything and sometimes I can also have a lot of fun during a night out, especially with some karaoke :D
Hope to see you around! 🐢
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because it's a beautiful way to exchange ideas, share time and create connections between people.
I prefer hosting since I sometimes feel a bit under pressure while being hosted to be super fun and entertaining - so if you're my guest: no need to be anything. :) if our ideas and schedules match, they do; if you just wanna rest a bit or explore on your own, totally fine. Communication is key ✨

Music, Movies, and Books
music: rock, punk, ska, indie-pop, folk, jazz... I mainly listen to small bands, so naming them will probably not help to describe my taste in music.
Especially live-music catches me, the genre doesn't even matter that much. I just love concerts and dancing.
I'm into Korean/Japanese literature lately - even though I only read very mainstream books so far like "before the coffee gets cold" or "welcome to the hyunam-dong bookshop". I just really like the slice-of-life feeling, the slow approach of the story line and the gentle interactions between the characters :) it just gives a special cozy feeling to it that I rarely find in European/US-american media.
Also same reason why I don't watch many movies, but there have been a couple I enjoyed - like "poor things" and "radical".
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Challenging myself.
