I translate videogames for a living and write acoustic indie folk songs on the side. Moved to Poland in 2019 but still haven't learned Polish (although I can totally pretend to know it in a grocery store). P.S. Check out my (now deceased) prog rock band's album! It's pretty cool: https://open.spotify.com/album/0HwcCbd9oQ2jklEH89dv7X

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I mostly surf but I've also hosted a couple of times and those surfers didn't run away screaming - I call it success.
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Tenacious D, Ghost, White Lies, Mumford and Sons, Nanowar of Steel, Ayreon, Blind Guardian, Toehider, Neal Morse, Transatlantic, The Reign of Kindo, Passion Pit, Jon Lajoie, The Winery Dogs, and many, many more. Movies: Swiss Army Man, Scott Pilgrim vs The World, Inside Llewyn Davis, Gattaca, La La Land, Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story, Cloud Atlas, Pleasantville, Predestination, also anything related to Edgar Wright, Wes Anderson, Spider-Man, Star Wars and Monty Python. Bad movies that I loved (ironically): Twilight (and sequels), Fifty Shades Of Grey (and sequels) and some other films of the same caliber. I also unironically loved Movie 43 and absolutely hated The Notebook. Fight me.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Traveled through Austria just to visit a small town called Fucking. Organized a road trip around Scandinavia for three other people and myself. Got them hooked on Couchsurfing.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to play the harmonica. You just blow out random sounds and whatever you do a nice melody comes out. Easiest. Instrument. Ever.
What I Can Share With Hosts
Russian military secrets.
My Interests
Music, movies, comics, movies about music and based on comics, linguistics, foreign mentality. I'm also collecting relatively weird string instruments (check gallery for proof).
