ABOUT ME

One of the early experiences I remember was a night in Athens, the beautiful ancient capitol of Greece. I weas there with my parents - I guess I was 10 - and we where met in the airport by my mothers old greek friend. He pickeds us up - brought us to his place to leave our stuff and then took us to dinner at an outside restaurant with all his family and som friends. He ordered all the food, it was put in the middle of the table and everybody could have whatever they liked. So here we were the first night in a foreign country, being shown some of the local ways and specialities by people who new the country - and I loved it.
I find couchsurfing a great opportunity to do more of the same - welcome foreigners to Denmark and show them some of the things they wouldnt have found in the guidebook. And meeting locals when I travel myself.

PHILOSOPHY

That's a rather big question. In an introduction to the french philosopher Gilles Deleuze, Todd May writes that Gilles Deleuzes philosophy is about the question: How might one live?
I don't claim to understand much of his philosophy but I love that question! What can we do with our lives?
It gives such great curiosity to all the aspects of life that we so easily take for granted.
And so far meeting people from other parts of the world has been the best way to discover new answers to that question - be they from Africa og around the corner.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm a beginner - my experience so far is onlye hearing a lot of good stuff from friends who are experienced couchsurfers.

During the last years my interest in life itself has been growing :-). Apart from that I hear a lot of music, travel as much as possible and do what I can to be around interesting people - it gives me such good opportunities to explore and discover interests I didn't even know I had.
