About Me

Learning Norsk

lived in the Netherlands for 21 years, now doing jobs and projects in Norway, Korea, China, France, Italy, Japan.

It's situations that shape a person. Look at a criminal or terrorist and realize that it could have been you. Of course, genes also play a role, but situations can be improved. I guess I can say some political things here as well right? So hurray for sustainability and green energy. Personally, I try to buy as little as necessary and avoid working for companies that only help to doom us.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

People tell me I am a good guest. Haven't had the chance to host yet because of the living conditions. I am not a big fan of tourism, a temple or mountain can be nice to visit but the real value of traveling is meeting new people with different ideas, tastes and stories. Couchsurfing is very good at breaking the barrier of seeing someone as a stranger.

all nice, some fantastic.

Humanism, pescetarianism, going green, juggling, EU integration, online learning, East-Asia, jam sessions.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've had a liberal arts education, which means academically, I'm a jack of all trades but a master of none. I'm interested in field ranging from economics to history with detours into biology. I quite like languages so I could teach you some Dutch or the basics of Mandarin or Swahili.
