About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel and complete a PhD

ABOUT ME

Have couchsurfed a few times over the years and I absolutely love it. I have just finished my masters in events in Edinburgh (napier uni) and have started my PhD in October. I love cooking, socialising, wine, theatre, travel (obviously!) and events and festivals. Always happy to meet people and explore.

PHILOSOPHY

I always think you should smile at everyone because you never know what's going on in their life and a smile might just brighten their day, and its free. :)

Listening is more important than talking, but sharing is a gift.

I have been learning Italian since last October. It's still very basic but I am trying! I will be visiting friends I made on here 8 years ago this July and travelling some more of Italy too.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I tell people how great it is, and what a good idea.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I often adopt lost and lonely american students in Ireland home with me to kent and take them around there and around london as im reasonably length journey away. Im new to this official couch surfing society but i'm sure i'll fit in and im excited about the experiences to come. I had my first surfing experience in Limerick and it was great.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading, watching films, watching crazy American dramas, like Grey's anatomy and Fringe. I also like British comedy classics like Gavin and Stacy and Monty Python. Favourite Film of all time is Eternal sunshine of the Spotless mind. And i also love French film He loves me, He loves me not, its definitely one to watch.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I dont know what to write here really as i think ive been very lucky and done and seen such a lot, because there are so many great things out there. I have to see i loved singing musical songs with my friend harriet as we went up the mountains in norway skiing as it was the only way we would fall off the t-bar lift! its very liberating singing the sun has got his hat on in icy beauty.

Teach, Learn, Share

A smile, great conversation and maybe a fun night cooking and drinking wine :-)
