Hey, I'm Lauren. I'm 23, born and raised in Austin, TX, though I lived in Saudi Arabia for eight years growing up. I was able to travel a lot when I was younger, and have most recently traveled via WWOOFing and Couchsurfing around Ireland. Can't put into words how amazing of an experience it was.

I've been fortunate enough to have stayed with some beautifully wonderful and interesting people while in Ireland... now it's my turn to host and show people a good time around Austin.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Living in a city that hosts some of the biggest music festivals in the world, I have had the pleasure of meeting several couchsurfers passing through. As well as surfing with plenty of generous folks in the Emerald Isle.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love shitty movies. I lucky to have a lot of friends who are excellent musicians, and I listen to live shows weekly. Been reading a lot of MFK Fisher and poetry lately, on top of cookbooks, cocktail books, and other miscellaneous articles...
