Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My first ever experience out of the country was this year, at this quarter century age of my life and it awakened me. If I can help support another person's desires to open their mind and see new places, well I want to do it! I also plan to make my rounds in the world as soon as I possibly can, and I hope that fellow couchsurfers will welcome me!

Interests

I'm huge into community activities. I've been known to find myself in poetry readings, storytelling sessions, comedy nights, art walks and the like. I'm a big dive bar lover, and cafe book reader as well. At home I make art (my medium, collage) and I also sew and make fashion designs.

Music, Movies, and Books

One thing you'll never find me without is a book. Currently reading Infinite Jest, and select feminist theories. Historically: Haruki Murakami, Charles Bukowski, Vladimir Nabokov, Milan Kundera, Jack Kerouac, and the list continues.

Movies I love include Her, Blue is the Warmest Color, Mulholland Drive, Milk, and Chinatown.

Currently listening to FKA Twigs, Foxygen, SOHN, Banks, Fleetwood Mac, Edward Sharp and the Magnetic Zeros, Daughter, and Local Natives.
