I'm a Finn living currently in Finland. Sharing my home currently with another human being and three cats.

Update Summer '25: Since last visitors I have moved to live in different part of the city. But the same basic stuff is applicable. There's an own room for you and if there are very many of you, then someone has to sleep either on floor or on livingroom sofa.

Interests

Anything... hmm... like for example photographing, books, movies, art, music, other fine arts, politics, cooking, charity work, sports and especially cycling and football, traveling, technical things... most probably a lot more things which I don't remember now.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Pretty much everything from the Hollywood blockbusters to the new wave European and Asian independent art hourse films.

Music: Again I'm quite omnivorous. If you take a look at my record collection, you'll find everything from classical music to death metal and creepiest electronic music from there and lots from between these. Practically the only thing what I don't listen at all is schlager music.

Books: My interest in history can be seen here as you can see me often reading something related to the history or society. But if we talk about fiction, I haven't really favorite authors as there are lots of authors who have a few good books and to keep things in balance, have also few flops. Anyway, I read also quite a lot, especially at work.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you really want to learn anything about this weird little magic world called Finland, let me know and I try my best to teach you from joiking to have fluent Finnish skills (ok, joiking I cannot do either as I am not from the northern Finland but I can find for you someone who can teach you it).

I myself am open to learn new things in almost any topic possible. So be prepared that I might ask you to teach me something!
