About Me

Pushing the current envelope of cultural understanding.

My life story is not unique, as travelers have come and gone, some more adventurous than others, others in solitude and some in collectivistic harmony.

A rather versatile nomad, I enjoy the random solo escape across the Brazilian hills or the random group trip with backpackers in China.

People are walking stories, and I hope to hear their rocky pages.

Running across platforms to get to the right train and, once there, not sure it's the correct platform. Wondering why the heck you ended up being chased by a guy with a machete in Shanghai. Drinking way too much Costa Rican beer and ending up at a gathering of local artists, musicians and peace supporters.

The philosophy of simply living is my life's decree. Couldn't tell you why I like it, but the moments it brings help define my life.

Sometimes a traveler finds an adventure, but the best times are had when that adventure finds the traveler.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've hosted, surfed, had coffee, had too many beers, many dinners, random excursions.

Through CS, I've made friends that are pillars to my own uphill travels. Some of the most significant people to this day have been found using this quirky little social network.

There's something about sharing a home or a story about travel that just makes friendships slide like butter.

It would be too easy to say that I like exploring. Yet, for those that think like me, I'm pretty sure I don't have to explain it.

I enjoy meeting new people and hearing their story. What an amazing thing that is when you just let yourself go in conversation. I like getting lost in towns, trying new foods, being in water, both on a boat and swimming.
