ABOUT ME

I have a degree in Music Education and just completed my Masters degree in Music with an emphasis on vocal performance from UW-Madison. I like to sing opera type stuff and other classical music!! I love love LOVE traveling. I went to Europe in high school and again in college, then a girlfriend and I spent a month seeing Italy, Ireland, Paris, and London in 2006. I went to Singapore during the summer of 2008. Then in 2009 I spent a month in New Zealand and a few days in Australia. Oh, how I loved Aotearoa! The last few years I have been going out west and rediscovering the beauty right here in the US. I am a big fan of movies and playing games. I think I am funny...and I think other people do too! Well, at least sometimes... :) I am so interested in meeting as many different people as I can in life. I am usually pretty hyper and like to do fun and spontaneous things!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met so many interesting people through couchsurfing so far. Being a lover of traveling, this site has honestly changed my life. Not only is it a useful tool for traveling, but it helps people from all over the world meet each other and unite. Meeting other couchsurfers continuously reminds me that it is okay and wonderful (!) to live life as we please. It is okay to step off of the safe path onto a much more mystical and sometimes daunting path. I have felt a connection with every couchsurfer I have met, and each person has an interesting and inspirational story. Man, I love traveling and experiencing the world. Couchsurfing has helped me realize that there are many people all over the world who feel the same!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I toured cathedrals in Italy during the day, and sang in them at night. There is nothing more beautiful than performing music in the acoustical environment they were written for. It was enough to make me drop to my knees and cry. Unforgettable.

Driving around New Zealand with my sister for a month. 'Nuff said.
