ABOUT ME
I'm Lear Ho, this name doesn't derive from the script of Shakespeare but from my daydreamy originality. I love to write stories and believe that a great story could move the world forward. I had learnt how to write from Nien-Jen Wu, a famous Taiwanese director, scriptist, actor, and author. Now I keep writing as a daily routine to improve it continuously.
Besides, I love to watch and shoot films. Being a part of shooting film is the only moment made me feel alive. Although I'm a MBA, I cooperated with my talented friends and made some nice videos. If you're also interested in it, I believe that we would have lots of experiences to share with each other.
My first time to be a backpacker was in the end of 2011. I visited 7 countries in EU in 3 months, including Finland, Sweden, Denmark, England, Spain, Germany and Czech Republic. That was undoubtedly a wonderful memory which encourage me to do it again and again.
From this August to November, I would go to visit Northern and Eastern Europe. Hoping to meet you there!
PHILOSOPHY
A man is not old until regrets take the place of dreams.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
After my first time using couch-surfing, I was totally addicted to it and thought it was the best way to travel around the world. My first host is a hospitable and warm lady who let me choose couch-surfing to meet new friends during my stay at different countries. Through this way, I get lots of interesting stories from the host and share as much as I could with them.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I had my first host, a charming lady, at Copenhagen in Denmark. She was so hospitable that treated me and my friend like old friends even we don't know each other before. Also, she offered lots of useful informations and recommend some private resorts which enriched our journey. Although the weather was not quite good during my stay, her warmness made everything beyond our expectations.
After that, I'm traveling around Europe by CS now. So far, I had met artists, PhD students, nurses, engineers, designers, journalists, and so on. Would you become the next one to enrich my journey?
Interests
Travelling, shooting films, reading books, writing stories, acquainting new friends, and so on. I especially love to read books and acquaint new friends, because these 2 ways could bring people wider vision and deeper wisdom. I believe that every acquaintance brings mutual benefit to each other and leave something meaningful. That's the reason why I keep travelling.
