Manifest destiny! Taking a meandering week to deliver a car from NYS to a friend in Bellingham, WA — then taking several weeks on the West Coast (Amtrak + hitching) to both see close friends and check out: Bellingham, Vancouver, Portland, San Francisco, Sacramento and whatever other places call my name!

ABOUT ME

I am a jazz pianist, composer, executive-producer, actor and poet. I hitchhiked Europe for all of 2013, covering the continent twice — WWOOF farming and playing piano through 11 countries. I am high-energy, adventurous and very down. I am extremely neat and clean, an excellent cook, shameless punster, and can spin a yarn, cut up a dance floor, drive stick and win over the least sociable cat in seconds.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have some experience being hosted, but none hosting. My family's home in Schenectady, New York is a hosting paradise, but I have moved around a good deal, and look forward to the opportunity to set roots in the future and return the hosting favor over and over and over again!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I hitchhiked from underneath the Eye in London to Thessaloniki in Western Greece (including hitching the ferries from Dover, England–Calais, France and Ancona, Italy–Igoumenitsa, Greece) in five days to meet my Papoo (beat him by 6 hours!) in his hometown. Together we explored my Greek roots in the middle of my year solo hitching Europe — just months before he passed.
