I'm currently a Peace Corps health volunteer in Guyana. I enjoy traveling when I get the chance. I'm a first generation university grad. People who are equally as likely to have a few drinks with me as they are to debate philosophy will be instantly friends. Future doc

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
B/c I want to travel and experience new places, and what better way to experience a new place than stay the people who live there?!
Music, Movies, and Books
Any classical English literature, classical American literature or series will catch my attention. Movies: anything that will either make me scared, laugh, and anything in between. modern sci-fi. I enjoy most types of music, though getting into Soca recently since I've moved to Guyana.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Sold educational books door-to-door for two summers. Very intense and difficult (especially the rejection part), but life-changing. Also a kangaroo hugged me in Australia, though he just wanted the cracker I was holding. Jerk hopped away when he got it.
My Interests
Good conversation is a starter. Learning about new cultures and places is essentially why traveling and international volunteering appeals to me so much. Having a new kind of beer at a bar is always fun. Also I'm a runner so I always like recommendations of places to run to enjoy the new scenery
