I appreciate the platform couchsurfing creates for people to connect with/learn from each other. With that being said, I don’t appreciate receiving couch requests that have nothing to do with travel/connecting, and everything to do with moving to Canada. I am not an immigration specialist, and I don’t know what different individuals in different countries need to do to move to Canada. If you are seeking information on how to move to Canada, please ask the appropriate authorities : )

Further, Canada is a huge country. Just by land mass, you could fit France into Canada 40 times over. I am a 29 hour drive away from Toronto. Please check my location before asking to stay. If you’re in Saskatchewan in our area, we’d probably love to host you. If you’re in any other province, please ask hosts in those provinces.

My husband is a substitute teacher for multiple districts now after nearly 6 years teaching at a non-profit program. I am fortunate to be a stay at home mom. We travel on a shoestring though, and usually stay with family/friends. We’re on couchsurfing to expand our options for places to stay when adventuring as well as to meet awesome new friends.

I’m a pretty good cake/cupcake decorator. I know how to make modeling chocolate and awesome buttercream icing. I also make photo books for our family and can give hints and tips there. I’m great at finding things on a budget and have websites and tricks for getting a great deal on most items : )
