I can't figure out what's my favourite song because I love so many genres, I guess I have at least two favourite songs for each genre... One of my favourite books in French is L'élégance du hérisson by Muriel Barbery; in English it's The Handmaid's Tale (and, well, the Harry Potter series, of course).

I think you can learn a lot from strangers by simply talking to them, exchanging ideas, trying to know them! I love learning about different cultures and countries, and I am quite pleased when people show interest for my own culture. I'm not a chef but I can cook so I'd be happy to share French recipes.
