Living in Bend Oregon is a blessing that I don’t often take for granted and coming home is always a treat, but I love to travel, meet new people and see as much as I can of the world! I’m still a bit of a novice about the best ways to travel but I’m plan on becoming a pro over the coming years!

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
Please Note- I do not host anyone that doesn’t have references and I don’t host folks that are anything but travelers, even if just coming to Bend for a weekend from PDX be a traveler not a “just moved here” / “trying to move here”/“in between roommates here” folks. Sorry that’s not why I’m hosting! I often open my house to hikers passing through and love the experience! Couchsurfing has intensified the hosting experience and I live it! I have a full time job that only requires a small amount of time so my days are free to be a tour guide to local breweries and taxi driver to all the natural beauty we have here in central Oregon! In my travels I have a passion for talking with locals and learning what they know about the area they live in- the history and places of interest to them! Often there is magic that would never be found any other way!

As a off leash Wilderness dog runner for 5 years I know the trails of the area and the sweet spots to get away and breathe where your likely to be very alone! I can swear you to secrecy and show you ;) During the winter I have extra snow shoes and the dogs and I are more than happy to go for a slog day or magical night.
