About Me
Hey there, I'm Leo from Brazil!
I have recently graduated as mechanical engineer and I work offshore on 14 days shift.
My job allows me to travel a lot, but unfortunately I haven't done it that much - but my wishes for 2020 are all to change it!
I've lived in USA in two different occasions:
December 2014 - February 2015 -> I went for a program called work experience and I had the opportunity to meet great people and a whole new culture while I worked on Pizza hut - please, so not ask me to make pizzas, I'm a terrible cooker.
July 2015 - August 2016 -> I had the opportunity to go to USA in a Brazilian program called science without borders. I spent two semesters in Arizona studying mechanical engineering and almost 3 months in Chicago for a research. It was for sure one of the best years of my life!
After that I went to Chile for a ski trip - I do love sky, but it would be better if it was not too expensive and if we had snow in Brazil. But ok, I also love beach and sun!
Brazil also has a lot to offer when it comes to traveling. I've been in very beautiful places over here!
When I'm on a trip, I do prefer nature, like mountains, beach, sun, hiking, riding a bike and some radical sports.
My wishes for 2020 is to travel as much as I can, and I expect to meet some good new people through couch surfing!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe that one of the most important part of a trip is to really live that new place and for me couch surfing is exactly like this. To be in a house with people that lives on the place is amazing for me and for sure makes the trip way better.
