About Me

Oioi! I'm Leo, a 24 year old newly graduated doctor, from Espinho, Portugal. I'm also a handball and beach handball player, having played for Portugal's Senior National Team of both sports.

PHILOSOPHY: The way you treat others is how others will treat you. My biggest goal in life is to be able to help others.

I consider myself an ambivert, definitely enjoy being on my own, but at the same time love to be around people and have meaningful conversations: whether we're sharing stories, world views, life experiences or just joking around.

I'm open minded, easy going, friendly, adventurous, hard working and eager to try everything at least once and experience everything I can.

If I'm not in the hospital then I'm probably at practice/gym. If I'm not in practice, then I'm probably at the beach or watching the sunset. If in not at the beach then I'm probably travelling. And that basically sums up my life 💫

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined Couchsurfing on my first Interrail because I wanted to know the people and the culture of the places I visited and believed the best way of acheiving it was connecting with locals.
After having a very positive experience with Couchsurfing on my first interrail (and after a stop due to COVID-19 pandemic) I'm trying to get the most out of the cs experience in my next trips. Fortunately, I've met some of the best people through couchsurfing and made some good friends 🫶.
I'm here for the cultural exchange, opportunity to talk and meet new people and to share and learn everything I can.
