Hi! We are Li Ann and Soong and we are backpacking through South America for 6 months. We have had great experiences on Couchsurfing, both hosting and being hosted in places like Ireland, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Japan and the UK. We're very clean, friendly and super respectful of privacy, and we love hosting and being hosted.

We’re originally from Singapore but have lived and worked in many countries growing up, including Canada, the UK, US, Thailand, China and Taiwan. We stepped away from the corporate world not too long ago and are now digital nomads, mainly doing writing, content creation and editing work for various lifestyle brands and companies.

We have a nomadic streak and love traveling to far flung places, understanding and living with local people there. Some of these places include Afghanistan, North Korea, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Greenland. We last spent half three months in Mongolia and Xinjiang.

We are private chefs, so we love cooking, sharing and exchanging recipes. We'd love to cook you a meal or 2 as well!

We are former journalists and communications professionals, so writing and editing copy come quite naturally to us. We've also taught English and Mandarin, and can shoot with professional video cameras and edit video. We are well versed in social and digital media and can help with digital marketing and branding work.
