It's in a quiet neighborhood and not the place to stay if you're looking for the New Orleans Party scene, unless you're willing to drive or Uber back and forth (which is 20 minutes and at least $25 each way))

I host on CS as well as a few other hospitality sharing platforms. I also host short term (1 to 7 days) as well as longer stays. There is a chance that I might be gone for a month while someone else is here house sitting.

I really enjoy the local theater, arts and music scene, as well as the couchsurfing scene.

Gretna is on the West Bank, so it's 20 minute drive/ Uber to the French quarter. There is a bus station within a 15 minute walk that goes to the Quarter and other places around town, but it only runs from about 6am to 9pm
