Overview
About Me
Moving to Canada in May 2025 after falling in love with the country 8 years ago. Life has taken me in many directions since then, having graduated University in Engineering, spending 1 year in France, then New Orleans Louisiana.
I love to travel, especially through hitch hiking as it's a beautiful way - similar to couch surfing to meet local people and see the positive, kind side to humanity.
I also of course want to hear your stories - to inspire me on my own pathway through life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I first used Couch Surfing as a Surfer on an old profile while I first visited Canada. I then set up this profile while living in Belfast to return the favour, interact with new travellers, share a laugh and hopefully provide some insight into my home city.
I am travelling to Mexico on October 21st and will stay for Dia de los Muertos before hitch hiking my way to Guatemala. It would be great to meet some locals!

Music, Movies, and Books
Books - mainly nonfiction of various types, from adventure, self-development and biographies. Although I really like Haruki Murakami if I were to read fiction.
Movies - not a huge movie geek. All-time favourite is Shawshank Redemption (of course) and anything with a good soundtrack!
Music - Open to all. Music is in my opinion one of the best mediums for creating memories with people and cultures.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm currently restoring a 150+ year-old cottage on my family farm. It's a slow work in progress but I love doing it and am excited to see the end result in due course.
